Carney-Komplex bezeichnet ein Syndrom, das erstmals durch Carney 1985 Carney JA, Gordon H, Carpenter PC, et al: The complex of myxomas, spotty pigmentation, and endocrine overactivity. Medicine (Baltimore) 64:270–283, 1985 beschrieben wurde als „Komplex von Myxomen, Hautflecken und hormoneller Überfunktion“ Vidaillet HJ Jr, Seward JB, Fyke FE, et al: „Syndrome myxoma“: A subset of patients with cardiac myxoma associated with pigmented skin lesions and peripheral and endocrine neoplasms.
